Every child is a star!

Starburst Dance is a program designed for children ages 2 to 11 years old. Classes consist of creative movement, traditional tap and ballet and jazz. The once-a-week classes culminate in a spring recital in April. What sets us apart? Our season is shorter than other schools -- 7 to 8 months rather than 10 -- in order to free up your family's schedule in May. We have smaller classes, with a maximum of 8 to 12 students per class. And you will get affordable, quality dance instruction.

Our mission is to expose your child to the performing arts, build your child's self-confidence and bring out his or her strengths, provide challenges for progress and establish a stepping stone for further dance opportunities.

How to get started: Fill out the online registration form. Mail registration fee and 1st month tuition to secure spot(s) to Starburst Dance, 428 County Road SS, Roberts, WI, 54023. Check should be made payable to Starburst Dance. See below for tuition rates and class options.

Attendance

Attendance will be taken at each class and is extremely important in the progress of each dancer. Every week, the students will be learning new skills and choreography and unnecessary absences are a hindrance to the student, teacher and fellow classmates.

If you know that you will not be attending class, please notify the teacher by leaving a message prior to the start of your class.

If you are injured, you are still welcome and encouraged to come and view class. Absences from classes are non-refundable. Please make sure that students use the bathroom BEFORE class begins.

Injuries

Parents, legal guardians or minors, students, and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on studio property resulting from normal dance, music, or theatre activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, after or during class time.

Tuition

Tuition is pro-rated and is based on approximately 29 weeks of dance instruction.

The program does not deduct for illness, vacation or absences. Cancellations due to weather etc... are built right in to the price.

Payments are the same whether there are three, four or five dance classes that month. Enrollment is for the full 7 - 8 month term depending on recital date.

Proper notification is required for withdrawal of the student at any time. Without notification you will continue to be charged for classes. There is no refund on registration, monthly tuition, or costume deposits (once costumes and/or materials have been purchased/ordered) if you choose not to complete the year.

All class payments are due by the FIRST lesson of each month and can be given to the instructor. All checks or money orders should be made payable to: Starburst Dance.

Each family will be provided with a sheet of payment vouchers and should attach one to every payment. Extra copies will be available at the studio.

• Starburst reserves the right to drop any student for non-payment of their tuition
• Bad checks will be assessed a $20 fee
• Cash payments are only accepted in a sealed envelope with a payment voucher
• If any student wishes to discontinue classes, notice is required BEFORE the second week of class or that month's tuition is non-refundable.

Starburst offers the following discounts. Please note that only ONE discount per family will apply.

2 dancers per family = $5.00 off total monthly tuition

3 dancers per family = $10.00 off total monthly tuition

4+ dancers per family = $15.00 off total monthly tuition

OR Pay for ½ year in advance = 5% off total year tuition

Pay for full year in advance = 10% off total year tuition
